How to upload your website files
FTP (file transfer protocol) lets you upload your website's files to your hosting account. To use FTP, you need:
An FTP client (we recommend FileZilla but there are many others)
A hosting account that has been set up
Your hosting account (FTP) username and password
To know your hosting account's type
This article shows you how to FTP files to your hosting account using FileZilla.
Use FileZilla for FTP
Download, install, and launch FileZilla. Complete the following fields, and then click Quickconnect.

|Host||Your domain name or account's IP address.|
|Username||Your hosting account (FTP) username.|
|Password||Your hosting account (FTP) password.|
In the Remote site area, open your website's root directory (Web & Classic / cPanel / Plesk) Drag your website's files from the Local site area to the Remote site area. When you navigate to your domain name, you'll see the files you FTPed.
